Michigan Requirements:
24 hours total. Of the 24 credits, a minimum of 3 must be approved ethics credits.
Michigan no longer requires a Life/Health or Property/Casualty breakdown. The remaining 21 credits can be in whichever line of authority you choose.

FLOOD: All producers selling Flood insurance policies under the NFIP must the minimum training requirement of three (3) hours.
ANNUITY Best Interest: Public Act 266 requires a producer who engages in the sale of annuities to complete a one-time 4-hour annuity training course. If a producer completed an annuity training course approved by the director prior to June 29, 2021, the producer must complete one of the following: a) a new 4-credit training course approved by the director for use on or after June 29, 2021, or b) an additional one-time 1-credit training course approved by the director for use on or after June 29, 2021, on appropriate standards of conduct, sales practices, replacement, and disclosure requirements.
MONITOR/PROCTOR: Michigan requires a disinterested third-party person of your choice to watch you complete your closed-book test. Your monitor cannot be related to you.
ROSTERS: We notify Michigan daily Monday through Friday once we have received payment. Michigan requires $1 per credit hour. This fee will be charged at checkout. It takes Michigan 24 hours (business days) to process the information once we submit it.
TESTING: You only have five chances to pass the test. If you fail five times, the system will lock you out & we cannot erase or delete the failed tests. You must select a different course to complete.
CARRY-OVER: Resident producers who complete more than 24 hours of CE for their current review period can carry over no more than 12 hours to the next review period.
