Course Overview Welcome to the course titled “Today’s Retirement.” In the first section of this course we present material relating to the elements that have changed the face of retirement planning in America. Many people nearing retirement have had to delay the event due to current conditions. This course examines how financial conditions have affected insurance products, including the use of IRAs. Inflation is discussed in great length in the first section since it has such a huge affect on products. The second section is devoted to the use of insurance products to fund Individual Retirement Accounts. Funding, withdrawals and all other aspects are examined. The third course section looks at the various types of retirement vehicles that are associated with employment, including 401(k) Plans.
