  contained in the course, its primary function is to examine in a more
  detailed way, the components of property and casualty insurance.    Risk as it pertains to insurance, is
  discussed in length since it is important for the field agent to understand
  why companies are so concerned with accuracy for underwriting purposes. The last section of the course deals with negligence laws and how they pertain to insurance (both in policies and in loss adjustments). This section also lightly looks at the standardization of policies and how this came about. |
