Course Overview This course was developed with a focus on Saskatchewan’s regulatory framework under the Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority (FCAA), but its guidance extends to every province and territory in Canada. To reinforce its practical application, the material includes examples and disciplinary cases from across Canada, including Ontario, Alberta, Québec, and Atlantic jurisdictions. While each province has its own regulator, all align with the national standards set by the Canadian Council of Insurance Regulators (CCIR), the Canadian Insurance Services Regulatory Organizations (CISRO), and the Fair Treatment of Customers (FTC) guidance. By highlighting cross-Canada practices and outcomes, the course equips agents and advisors with ethical principles and suitability standards that apply no matter where they are licensed.
