Course Overview
Difference in Conditions
(DIC) Insurance is a non-filed
class of inland marine insurance in most states. It is designed to cover or close the gaps
in standard insurance policies. Being
a non-filed class of insurance allows these policies to be customized and
extend coverage to such risks (exposures) as water damage, flood, collapse,
earthquake, landslide and so on. This course goes into the basics of what a flood and earthquake
policy will cover and then what difference in conditions insurance can be
customized to cover. Sample policy is at the end of the course. Since there is no standard form, this is just an example. |
